Job Description
We are seeking a strategic AI Product Owner to lead business strategy and stakeholder management for 8-week AI solution assessments serving traditional businesses in their digital transformation journey. This role serves as the critical bridge between business objectives and technical capabilities, working directly with C-suite executives, department heads, and operational teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities, assess business readiness, and develop comprehensive AI adoption roadmaps that deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
Strategic Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
Lead comprehensive business process analysis and stakeholder interviews across all organizational levels, from C-suite executives to operational staff
Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases that align with client business objectives, operational challenges, and strategic growth initiatives
Conduct detailed assessments of business readiness including organizational change management capabilities, data governance maturity, and resource availability
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on AI strategy and implementation priorities
AI Product Vision & Roadmap Development
Define and communicate comprehensive AI product vision and strategic roadmap tailored to client industry vertical and business model
Develop prioritized backlogs of AI features, capabilities, and implementation phases based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource constraints
Create detailed business cases with ROI projections, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for proposed AI initiatives
Establish success metrics and KPIs for AI implementations that align with client business objectives and industry benchmarks
Assessment Methodology & Process Leadership
Lead the business components of 8-week AI assessment engagements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all business functions and use cases
Manage assessment timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverable quality to ensure client satisfaction and engagement success
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and architectural recommendations
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions with client teams to gather requirements and validate assumptions
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Conduct comprehensive market research on AI trends, competitive landscape, and industry-specific AI applications relevant to client business
Analyze competitor AI implementations and industry best practices to inform client strategy and differentiation opportunities
Stay current with emerging AI technologies, regulatory requirements, and ethical considerations affecting client industries
Develop industry-specific AI maturity frameworks and benchmarking methodologies
Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and assess business risks associated with AI implementation including operational disruption, change management challenges, and regulatory compliance requirements
Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and change management plans for AI adoption initiatives
Ensure AI recommendations comply with industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.) and ethical AI principles
Create governance frameworks for ongoing AI operations including model monitoring, performance tracking, and continuous improvement processes
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or consulting roles
2+ years of specialized experience with AI/ML product development or AI transformation initiatives
2+ years of client-facing consulting experience or customer success management
Business & Product Management Expertise
Proven track record in product strategy development, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management for technology products
Strong experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product owner responsibilities including backlog management and sprint planning
Expertise in business case development, ROI analysis, and financial modeling for technology investments
Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery for B2B technology solutions
AI & Technology Domain Knowledge
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, capabilities, limitations, and business applications across various industries
Familiarity with AI implementation challenges including data requirements, model development lifecycle, and deployment considerations
Knowledge of AI ethics, bias detection, explainability requirements, and regulatory compliance considerations
Understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and integration challenges for AI solutions
Consulting & Communication Skills
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage effectively with C-level executives and technical teams
Strong facilitation skills for workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative planning sessions
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa
