Job Description
HALO is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join a high-impact engagement building a custom solution for complex data processing in a specialized domain. This is an execution-first role — you'll drive product decisions, own the backlog, and manage a web of internal and client-side stakeholders through ambiguity and evolving requirements.
Success here isn't about maintaining a roadmap someone else built. It's about walking into a complex product environment, quickly developing command of the domain, and leading the conversations that move things forward.
Responsibilities
Product Execution & Delivery
Lead product initiatives from concept through delivery in a fast-paced, Agile environment
Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and actionable plans
Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing across multiple stakeholders and inputs
Partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, quality delivery
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and client stakeholders
Manage competing priorities and perspectives across stakeholders with varied expertise and context
Lead alignment conversations, drive decision-making, and present and defend product decisions when needed
Ownership & Decision-Making
Take full ownership of the product area — drive initiatives forward even under ambiguity or limited information
Proactively identify gaps, propose solutions, and define requirements when they aren't clearly established
Act as a key driver in shaping the product alongside stakeholders
Domain Navigation
Quickly develop working knowledge of a complex business domain (actuarial / financial logic)
Partner with domain experts to translate specialized knowledge into product decisions
Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the product
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner
Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience navigating conflicting priorities across multiple parties
Proven ability to prioritize requirements in complex, fast-moving environments
Demonstrated ownership mindset — able to lead discussions and drive decisions without waiting for direction
Experience working in Agile environments with backlog management responsibility
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements
Preferred Skills
Background in financial services, actuarial, or data-heavy product domains
Experience on custom-built or highly complex products
Prior consulting or client-facing product role experience
